The Board module plugin provides an anonymous course area for students to share note-like posts, in which external sites, images and videos can be linked.

As a teacher, you can set up the Board module with the following options:

  • Each user can have their own board.
  • A board embedded into the course.
  • Images would open in a new tab when clicked.
  • A closing date for submissions.
  • How the posts are ordered in a column, by date or star count.
  • Whether posts can be rated – by students, teachers, or neither.
  • A background image or colour.
  • Whether students can move their posts.
